Business Development Manager – Studio Relations (m/f/d)

Our mission is to enable experts and beginners alike to play their favourite games together with their friends. From Ark and Minecraft to Battlefield and CS2, we provide a wide variety of around 100 different multiplayer games from all genres.


Your creative field:

As the Business Development Manager (Studio Relations) at GPORTAL, your primary focus will be on driving growth and establishing strategic partnerships within the gaming industry.

You will be tasked with identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and negotiating partnerships to expand our market presence and drive revenue growth. Specifically, at GPORTAL, your role involves seeking out multiplayer games, whether in development or already released, to further enhance our offerings and establish mutually beneficial collaborations (for example through ingame branding or preferred partnerships).

In detail, this means that you familiarize yourself intensively with the products and services of GPORTAL to then approach existing customers (or new customers identified through your market analysis and acquisition) and convince them of these. Our goal is always a long-term partnership, which is why not only the initial contact and closing the deal is important.

As you will know the customer best and are often the first point of contact, it is also your responsibility to develop an appropriate strategy for working with the customer and ensure that everyone is on board. So, we’re not just looking for the hunter, but also the farmer.


Ideally, you would have:

  • Several years of professional experience as a Business Development Manager, preferably in the SaaS or gaming industry
  • The Desire to search for new games, studios and potential partners and win them over for us
  • Experience in designing customer-specific strategies and business cases
  • Openness and adaptability to the fast pace of the gaming industry
  • A personal connection to the gaming industry, ideally through your passion for gaming. This will help you immensely to understand the needs, wishes and ideas of us and our customers and to communicate with all stakeholders at eye level
  • Very good English, as this is our primary language
