To support our GPORTAL marketing team we are looking for an experienced Community Manager. You feel at home in the world of gaming and on the well-known social media platforms and as a communication talent you love to exchange ideas with other gamers? Then you’ve come to the right place! Your creativity and passion for community management with a gaming connection are in demand.
Responsibilities:
- Independent community management in relevant channels such as: Instagram, TikTok, Twitch, Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, Discord, Reddit
- Actively participate by commenting, liking and posting to relevant channels
- You are the contact person for all issues like praise, criticism, tips and questions from our community around GPORTAL
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (text, photos, videos and news)
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media
- Monitoring and reporting to measure the success of our community activities
- You play a key role in shaping the external image of our brand and contribute new ideas in the area to expand our community building together with our social media team
Required criteria:
- 1-3 years of professional experience in the field of community management / social media
- You feel at home in the world of online games, are passionate about gaming or spend many hours watching streams and videos on Twitch and YouTube yourself
- You love to scroll through TikTok for hours on end, or follow the latest hashtag trends on Twitter and exchange ideas with other gamers
- You have excellent verbal and written English skills. And you speak @, emoji and #hashtag – Other languages (Spanish, French, German are an advantage)
- You are located in North America
- You have a good feeling for the gaming target group
- Ideally, you have experience with social media planning tools such as Hootsuite or Facebook Creator Studio
- You have strong communication and negotiation skills
- You enjoy developing your own creative ideas
- You are hungry for success for yourself and the company and want to work with us to take community management to the next level
- You are service-oriented, responsive and friendly
