Enable console<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

First, you need to activate the in-game console. To do this, proceed as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Search the file config.cfg of the client
    -> You can find it under the following path:
    C:\\User\\UserName\\Documents\\Euro Truck Simulator 2
    C:\\User\\UserName\\Documents\\American Truck Simulator<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. In this file you have to change 2 values
    g_developer “0” –> g_developer “1
    g_console “0” –> g_console “1”<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    Create the configuration files<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    After you activate the console, start the game and log in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    1. Now set up your convoy (including the mods you want to use)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. You can ignore name, password and description at this point, because the generated server_config.sii doesn’t care about these settings<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. After your convoy is set up, press the key ^
      -> This should open the console at the bottom of the screen<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Type the following command in the console and press ENTER:
      export_server_packages
      -> you should get a confirmation for success<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Now go again to the folder of the client with the config.cfg file<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. Search here for the following files:
      server_packages.sii
      server_packages.dat<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Copy to the server<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      The next step is to copy the files via FTP<\/a> into the following directory: :
      -> .local\/share\/Euro Truck Simulator 2\/
      -> .local\/share\/American Truck Simulator\/<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Steam Server Token <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Have you registered your server here?
      ->       https:\/\/steamcommunity.com\/dev\/managegameservers<\/a>
      If so, you should make sure you are using the correct App ID, otherwise you won’t see your server in the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The ID for Euro Truck Simulator 2 is:
      -> 227300<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The ID for American Truck Simulator is:
      -> 270880<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Copy the generated ID and add them into the Server Token-field. After this please save the settings and you can start playing!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
