Create backup<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You can create backups for your GPORTAL server if you want to. You receive free storage space for saving your game play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note<\/strong> Please note that backups are not created automatically. <\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

How to create a backup via the web interface:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Log on to our website<\/li>
  2. Click on \u201cMy Servers<\/strong>\u201d in the menu on the left<\/li>
  3. Select the desired server<\/li>
  4. Click on \u201cBackup<\/strong>\u201d in the \u201cAdministration<\/strong>\u201d menu on the left<\/li>
  5. Click on \u201cCreate Backup<\/strong>\u201c<\/li>
  6. The server stops for the backup<\/li>
  7. After creating the backup, the server restarts automatically<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      How do I get ServerAdmin rights on my TeamSpeak 3 Server?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      When connecting to your own TeamSpeak server you will be asked for a permission key. This is necessary to get the ServerAdmin rights. With the ServerAdmin rights you can administer your TeamSpeak 3 server. For example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Set up settings<\/li>
      • Create channel <\/li>
      • Ban or kick other users. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Generate authorization key<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

        In the basic settings of your voicecloud you will find the authorization key for your TeamSpeak 3 server in the “Token” tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Copy this permission key and add it in the TeamSpeak Client in the appropriate window.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Setting up your own Teamspeak-Domain <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        Instead of using the IP, you can also connect to your own domain on your Teamspeak server. Either you use a domain provided by us or rent your own. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

        How do I create a subdomain? <\/h4>\n\n\n\n
        • Open the overview of your Teamspeak server<\/li>
        • Navigate to the point “TSDNS”<\/li>
        • Enter the desired name in the first field<\/li>
        • Select the domain<\/li>
        • Save your changes<\/li>
        • Your subdomain is now valid and can be used<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          How do I set up my own domain? <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

          First you have to rent your own domain from a domain provider of your choice. There the Teamspeak server is set as an SRV record. You can ask the provider how exactly this works. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

          The SRV record looks like this: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

          _ts3._udp.TS.YOURDOMAIN.de. IN SRV 0 5 YOURTSPORT ts7.g-portal.com <\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          The last section of the record is the virtual host. You can find your host in the following list:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            In the web interface you set in the pull-down menu: \u201cOwn TLD\u201d and then enter your domain in the line below. Depending on the domain provider, it can take up to 24 hours for the changes to take effect and for your Teamspeak server to be accessible with your own domain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Which query port does my TeamSpeak 3 server use? <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

            A TeamSpeak3 server uses the following ports: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

            • VoiceServer-port (incoming UDP): Your Voiceserver port<\/li>
            • Filetransfer-port (incoming TCP): 30033<\/li>
            • Serverquery-port (incoming TCP): 10011<\/li>
            • Weblist-port (UDP outgoing): 2010<\/li>
            • TSDNS-port (incoming TCP): 41144<\/li>
            • Accounting-port (outgoing TCP): 2008
