{"id":27424,"date":"2026-01-30T13:19:14","date_gmt":"2026-01-30T13:19:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.g-portal.com\/wiki\/?p=27424"},"modified":"2026-02-05T12:17:15","modified_gmt":"2026-02-05T12:17:15","slug":"how-do-i-add-mods-to-my-hytale-server","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.g-portal.com\/wiki\/en\/how-do-i-add-mods-to-my-hytale-server\/","title":{"rendered":"How do I add mods to my Hytale server?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Since we know how important modding is to the community, we have developed a new system for Hytale that allows you to easily add mods to your server without any downloads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Log in to your GPORTAL account and go to \u201cMy Servers\u201d on the left side<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Now select your Hytale server<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will now see the \u201cMods\u201d menu item on the left side<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on it and you will be taken to a search mask<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This search mask is linked to the Curseforge mod database<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can now enter a mod that is available on Curseforge for Hytale, and the search will look for it in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.curseforge.com\/hytale\">Curseforge database<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once you have found your mod, click on the small plus icon to add the mod to your server<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Repeat the process until you have all the mods you want to use<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then click on \u201cSave\u201d at the bottom to apply the mods<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your server will be stopped briefly and then restarted<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"452\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.g-portal.com\/wiki\/2026\/01\/hytalemoddingEN-1024x452.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-27425\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cdn.g-portal.com\/wiki\/2026\/01\/hytalemoddingEN-1024x452.png 1024w, https:\/\/cdn.g-portal.com\/wiki\/2026\/01\/hytalemoddingEN-300x132.png 300w, https:\/\/cdn.g-portal.com\/wiki\/2026\/01\/hytalemoddingEN-768x339.png 768w, https:\/\/cdn.g-portal.com\/wiki\/2026\/01\/hytalemoddingEN-1536x678.png 1536w, https:\/\/cdn.g-portal.com\/wiki\/2026\/01\/hytalemoddingEN.png 1709w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><strong>IMPORTANT:<\/strong> Please note that using mods can increase the RAM requirements for your server.
