Create backup<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You can create backups for your GPORTAL server if you want to. You receive free storage space for saving your game play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note<\/strong> Please note that backups are not created automatically. <\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

How to create a backup via the web interface:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Log on to our website<\/li>
  2. Click on \u201cMy Servers<\/strong>\u201d in the menu on the left<\/li>
  3. Select the desired server<\/li>
  4. Click on \u201cBackup<\/strong>\u201d in the \u201cAdministration<\/strong>\u201d menu on the left<\/li>
  5. Click on \u201cCreate Backup<\/strong>\u201c<\/li>
  6. The server stops for the backup<\/li>
  7. After creating the backup, the server restarts automatically<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      How to connect to my satisfactory server?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      To join a server in Satisfactory, simply use the new server manager. We will show you how to do this here:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Before you start with the Server Manager, you need the IP and the port of your server<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Log in to your account on the GPORTAL page and click on “My servers” and select your Satisfactory server<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Now you can see the IP and the port under “Server Info”<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Copy the infos or write them down somewhere else<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      5. Open the game and click on “Server Manager”<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      6. Press “Add Server” and enter the IP and port of the server<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      7. The server now loads the files and asks you to give it a name and an admin password<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      8. After that you can name your world and select the starting area<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      9. The server now loads the desired world and you can start directly<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        I cannot find my server with update 1.0 as described. What can I do?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        If you can’t find your Satisfactory server ingame, we have a workaround for you here:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          \n
        • Use the port with 00 at the end when searching
          Example: The server IP is: 111.222.333.444:55555
          -> Instead, search for 111.222.333.444.55500
          Note: Please note that this is only an example IP. Yours will be different.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • The game will ask you to accept a certificate<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • After you have accepted it, you can claim the server<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          How do I install mods on my Satisfactory server?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

          To be able to use mods in Satisfactory, you must upload them to your GPORTAL server via FTP (e.g. with Filezilla)<\/em> and then update them manually. You can NOT use the Satisfactory Mod Manager for this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          The mods or the mods folder must not be uploaded directly via FTP from your STEAM\/EPIC folder to the server. This method will not work correctly or not at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Proceed as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            \n
          • First stop your server via our web interface<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Go to the page of your mod
            -> https:\/\/ficsit.app\/mod<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • At the top right of your mod it says \u201cview versions<\/strong>\u201d -> click on it<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Another page will open with all versions of the mod<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • For the latest version, go to \u201cDownload\u2026<\/strong>\u201d and select \u201cWindows Server<\/strong>\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Unzip the .smod and rename the unzipped folder to match the name of the .uplugin file it contains<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Then upload this mod folder to your server under \u201cMods<\/strong>\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • After a successful upload, start your server and it should then load the mod<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            How to upload my own savegame?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

            Since the Server-Manager-Update, uploading a savegame is very easy! First of all, add your server like mentioned above

            1. Press on “Manage Saves”<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            2. Navigate to the point “Upload Save”<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            3. The game is now detecting your singleplayer savegame<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            4. Choose the desired savegame<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            5. After a short timerange, you can directly connect to the server and play the singplayer-state online with your friends<\/li>\n\n\n\n
