It is now possible to upload a custom .jar for your Minecraft server. Here we will show you how it works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. First visit the official Forge website<\/a> to choose your version and download it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Download the installer and create a new folder for it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. To install the version you need to have the correct Java version installed on your PC. You can download Java here<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Now run the installer with a double click<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Select “Install Server” in the installation and optionally choose an installation path. Here you can select your new folder<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Open the path of the installation you just made<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Now delete the Installer.jar, as well as the created installer.log.Upload the remaining data (libraries, forge.jar and minecraft_server.jar) via FTP to your server.<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Then select your uploaded .jar in the basic settings under “Custom Jar” and save the settings.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Note<\/strong>Make sure to set the correct Java version, here in the example for Minecraft 1.16.5. You can change the java version under the mod selection once you have selected a different Minecraft version<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n
