Create backup<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You can create backups for your GPORTAL server if you want to. You receive free storage space for saving your game play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note<\/strong> Please note that backups are not created automatically. <\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

How to create a backup via the web interface:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Log on to our website<\/li>
  2. Click on \u201cMy Servers<\/strong>\u201d in the menu on the left<\/li>
  3. Select the desired server<\/li>
  4. Click on \u201cBackup<\/strong>\u201d in the \u201cAdministration<\/strong>\u201d menu on the left<\/li>
  5. Click on \u201cCreate Backup<\/strong>\u201c<\/li>
  6. The server stops for the backup<\/li>
  7. After creating the backup, the server restarts automatically<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      How do I install mods?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      1. Log on to our website<\/li>
      2. Click on \u201cMy Server<\/strong>\u201d in the menu on the left<\/li>
      3. Select the server<\/li>
      4. Stop the server<\/li>
      5. Navigate to \u201cBasic Settings<\/strong>\u201d in the menu on the left<\/li>
      6. Enter the Collection ID under \u201cMods\/Usermanagement<\/strong>\u201d<\/li>
      7. Confirm the change using the \u201cSave<\/strong>\u201d button<\/li>
      8. Restart the server<\/strong><\/li>
      9. The mods will be downloaded after starting the server<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Hint<\/strong>
        If you do not see the address bar on Steam, navigate to Steam<\/strong> -> Settings <\/strong>-> Interface and select “Show Steam URL address bar if available<\/strong>“.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

        How do I upload my own saved game?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
        1. Log on with your GPORTAL account<\/li>
        2. Select the server<\/li>
        3. Click on \u201cBasic Settings<\/strong>\u201d in the menu on the left<\/li>
        4. Make a note of the FTP access data<\/li>
        5. Stop the server<\/strong><\/li>
        6. Connect to the FTP server<\/li>
        7. Navigate to the FTP directory \u201c\/profile\/saves<\/strong>\u201d<\/li>
        8. Load the folder with the local saved game in the directory<\/li>
        9. Reload the \u201cBasic Settings<\/strong>\u201d in the web interface<\/li>
        10. Under \u201cBasic<\/strong>\u201d, choose the uploaded world<\/li>
        11. Restart the server<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          Note<\/strong>As a windows user, you will find the local saved game in the following path: C:\\Users\\YOUR USERNAME\\AppData\\Roaming\\SpaceEngineersDedicated\\Saves
