How do I activate cheats?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

You can activate cheats in “The Forest” directly via the menu. To do so, go to the game’s options and check the “AllowCheats” box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do I access my server as an admin?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

In order to log in as an admin, you need to enter the following hidden command from the keyboard in the main menu of the game:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After you have done this, you will notice that when you join the server, an option for an admin password is displayed. Enter the admin password you set up here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do I generate GSL token for The Forest server?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
  1. Generate a GSL token at https:\/\/steamcommunity.com\/dev\/managegameservers<\/a><\/li>
  2. Set the \u201cApp ID<\/strong>\u201d to \u201c242760<\/strong>\u201d<\/li>
  3. Use \u201cMemo Text<\/strong>\u201d to easily assign the server<\/li>
  4. Click on \u201cCreate<\/strong>\u201d and reload the page<\/li>
  5. Copy the token<\/li>
  6. Log on with your GPORTAL account<\/strong><\/li>
  7. Select the server<\/li>
  8. Click on \u201cBasic Settings<\/strong>\u201d in the menu on the left<\/li>
  9. Stop the server<\/strong><\/li>
  10. Paste the token into \u201cGame Server Login Token<\/strong>\u201d<\/li>
  11. Save <\/strong>the changes and restart the server<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Note<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    A Steam account is required for the GSL Token (“G”ame “S”erver “L”ogin “T”oken). The token is associated with this Steam account and must be entered on the server, otherwise it will not start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Do not pass on the token.
    <\/strong> A token can only be used on one server. <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Prerequisites for generating tokens: <\/strong>
    – Account may not be banned or blocked
    – Not be limited (    https:\/\/support.steampowered.com\/kb_article.php?ref=3330-IAGK-7663<\/a> )
    – Maximum 1,000 servers per account

    Create backup<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    You can create backups for your GPORTAL server if you want to. You receive free storage space for saving your game play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Note<\/strong> Please note that backups are not created automatically. <\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    How to create a backup via the web interface:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
