Garry's Mod is named after its creator Garry Newman and has been out there for some time as a standalone game. The game is based on the Source Engine from Valve and basically gives players the possibility to do funny things with the physics engine. With your own Garry’s Mod Server, you can invite your friends and other players to build devices like vehicles, towers, and all the stupidities you can think of.
Garry's mod combines classic sandbox elements with the typical TF2 and CS:S look of the HL2 engine, there are several mods and game variants that make the Garry’s Mod seem never boring. Over the years, Garry's Mod is certainly one of the most popular standalone titles based in the HL2 Universe, which still inspires thousands of players every day.
