An age comes to an end

In Chapter 3 for Age of Sorcery, we take a closer look at Mek-kamoses and his machinations. The story behind Chapter 3 is so secret that the developers didn't even want to explain a big part of the update - a new region. They don't want to spoil the surprise for the players, so they kept quiet.

They also stated that Chapter 3 will end the "Age of Sorcery" and then a new age will begin. Which one that will be, however, remained open. The planned release date is currently scheduled for March 14, 2023, according to developer Funcom.

A camel load of new content

As you would expect with a new chapter, there is new content, and a lot of it. First of all, the "Exiles Journey" will be reworked, which should make it easier for new players to get started. But veterans will also be able to take on this journey again and pick up a lot of useful and cool rewards along the way.

Two new features in Chapter 3 are the Redstones, also called Bloodcrystals, which players can collect in the game world. To do this, you first have to kill various monsters, which then carry these Redstones with them. Bring them back to Mek-kamoses, who is working on a strange ritual.

Also new are golems as companions. You can assemble a golem according to your wishes. Hands, legs, torso and head can be freely configured and give your new buddy different stats and abilities. But be careful: Golems cannot be healed. If your golem dies, you'll have to create a new one.

Of course, there's so much more in the update: new cosmetics, a new Battlepass, new items in the Bazzar, and new objects to build and decorate, such as an armor stand and tents.
