Dune: Awakening is coming to consoles and bringing Update 1.5 to the PC

September 17 is the big day: Arrakis opens its doors to new residents on PlayStation and Xbox, initially for owners of the corresponding editions; the normal full release for everyone will then take place on September 22, 2026. This marks the first time Funcom’s latest survival MMO is coming to consoles—complete, of course, with a user interface optimized for controllers.

Update 1.5 for PC

But don't worry—the PC community won't be left out, of course. With Update 1.5, they'll also receive an update that essentially includes the same new content that's new to consoles compared to the PC, such as a brand-new single-player mode for anyone who just wants to check it out on their own before joining friends on a GPORTAL server later.

The story of Dune: Awakening also comes to a conclusion, and there are many more tweaks, improved balance, and additional updates for everyone.
