Back on the fields with the FS22 Premium Edition
It's that time again: Developer GIANTS Software releases the Premium Edition, the next big expansion for Farming Simulator 22. Let's take a look at what's inside.
What's in it?
Last year, GIANTS Software released the Platinum Edition, the first major expansion or complete package with the contents from year 1 of the popular farming simulator. This year, the Premium Edition is the second complete package, which once again includes a new large expansion and all previous packs.
In total there is the base game, 7 DLC packs and 2 major expansions. The 7 DLC packs in the Premium Edition are:
- Antonio Carraro Pack
- Kubota Pack
- Vermeer Pack
- Göweil Pack
- Hay & Forage Pack
- As well as two packs not yet announced
The expansion from last year, the Platinum Edition, including Volvo as a new manufacturer is also included. A total of 6 varied maps are included in the Platinum Edition.
New map: Zielonka
Zielonka is a map set in the Central European region, drawing a lot of inspiration from Poland and the Czech Republic. You'll find a very cozy town with idyllic surroundings, perfect for raising a farm and rich agricultural fields.
A nice feature of the map is that, thanks to the new manufacturing chains, you'll be able to help build classy pianos. The local piano maker will be very grateful for your help.

New gameplay mechanics
New fruits: carrots, beet and parsnips
The Premium Edition brings 3 new fruits to your fields: orange carrots, beet and parsnips, which should not be confused with carrots.
With new fruits, of course, come new steps for the perfect harvest. For carrots, for example, you'll have to dig ditches, and you'll also have to take action with the other fruits. Fittingly, there will also be new machines and equipment that you can use to get the job done perfectly and then later reap a perfect harvest.

CLAAS XERION SADDLE TRAC Pack
For the Premium Edition of Farming Simulator 22, there is a matching pre-order promotion in the process of which the "Claas Xerion Saddle Trac Pack" is included free of charge. We assume, however, that you can also get it separately later.
