Umbral Sands is the biggest content update yet for RuneScape: Dragonwilds. It takes you to a vast desert region that was once inhabited by the Moon Garou and is now ruled by dangerous creatures and the Dragon General Fuzan.

The new region will present you with an entirely new challenge: Spend too much time in the scorching sun, and you’ll quickly suffer from the new Scorch effect. This causes your hunger and thirst to rise rapidly, making careful travel planning essential. Protective clothing, shaded rest areas, and proper preparation are therefore more important than ever.

Hot new stuff for adventurers

There’s also plenty of new content to discover when it comes to your gear. Adamantite Ore is a new material to explore. In addition, the skill caps for Woodcutting and Mining have been raised to level 99. And most importantly: You can now craft “Red Dragonhide” armor as well as the iconic Infinity Robes.

For true fighters, the Fight Cave awaits, essentially a reimagining of the well-known RuneScape challenge. Across multiple waves, you’ll need to overcome increasingly powerful enemies and environmental hazards before finally facing off against Fuzan. And of course, there are rewards in the form of the legendary “Fire Cape.”
