Developer Iron Gate has the survival community in a frenzy (in a positive sense, of course) with the release of the new update “Call To Arms,” which brings a breath of fresh air to Valheim.

The new content update is quite extensive, with changes in many areas, as well as new features, mats, and much more.
Here is a spoiler-free overview of the most important new features:
- New equipable item “Trinket” (13 different ones to find)
- 1 new skill
- 2 completely new creatures (plus 1 reworked creature)
- 1 food item, 8 crafting resources, 18 new wooden weapons
- 2 armor sets, 3 components, and even new hairstyles & beards (for a new style)
- 1 new area
- And a new engine under the hood, namely a Unity engine upgrade
