A Viking needs good food!
What would the world be without a proper meal?! The food system has been reworked so that you can eat even more delicately in the future. Raw meat, for example, is now divided into three categories, depending on which animal you captured it from (bear, deer, wolf). In addition, it can be processed into different foods, which you should choose according to your current play style. For example, there are meals that primarily increase your health but offer little stamina, or on the other hand, meals that primarily increase your stamina but offer little health. If you can’t make up your mind, simply choose the food that gives you balanced stats. The food bar on the left side has also disappeared. Instead, you’ll now see a timer on the food icon, so you’ll always know how long your buff will last. Very handy.

Sisters and brothers, raise your shields!
Vikings love their shields, and that’s why they’ve been tweaked a bit to make their effects and uses more distinct. If you want to be more aggressive against enemies in battle and don’t care much about your defense, the small and fast buckler should be the best choice. It only protects to a very limited degree, but you can strike much better and faster. On the other hand, if you prefer to think of yourself as a living fortress, you should go for the large tower shield. These shields are massive and heavy, but offer incomparable protection against attacks, especially against larger groups of enemies. The disadvantage, however, is that they limit your attacks quite a bit, unlike the small buckler. Should you prefer a balanced attack, you can use the medium round shields. So there is something for every type of Viking.

Information about Valheim Plus and mods in general
Please note that due to the new game version of Valheim, there may be temporary problems with mods, such as Valheim Plus, because modders must also first adapt their mods to the new game version. Unfortunately, it is not possible to predict or foresee how long this process will take. However, the modders are trying to implement this as quickly as possible, but also under the premise that it runs just as smoothly as before.
