Another new Farming Simulator 25 update has just been released with patch 1.8 and will delight you, especially if you want to admire more and new machines. We take a detailed look at all the new features in the GPORTAL blog.

New machines non-stop

In Farming Simulator 25 Patch 1.7 there were already some new machines on the farm, but with Patch 1.8 you can look forward to a whole range of new machines and equipment. Whether for field work, transportation or forestry - the FS25 Patch 1.8 expands the availability of machines extensively and in many different ways; even a nostalgic tractor has made it into the patch:

  • Case IH Farmall C Series
  • Case IH L630
  • CLAAS Arion 570 with additional engine configuration
  • Fiat 160-90 DT
  • GÖWEIL G-1 F125 Combi
  • HORSCH Finer 6 SL
  • New Holland CH7.70
  • New Holland 980CR 8-30
  • New Holland SuperFlex 25FT
  • New Holland Varifeed 28FT
  • Pfanzelt DW P 186

More convenience thanks to all kinds of gameplay improvements

Underneath the many new machines and equipment in the new FS25 update, there are of course other features and innovations that make life and, of course, the game more enjoyable. One particular highlight can be found directly in the in-game store: there is finally a search function. No more annoying and endless scrolling through seemingly endless lists - if you are looking for something specific, you can simply type it in.

Another very useful innovation in Farming Simulator 25 Patch 1.8 concerns the Farmtech Variofex 750. The spreader can now also spread lime, which saves a lot of time and makes it a flexible machine. The Bredal K105 has also been improved, as this spreader has been given a maintenance tire configuration. This is designed to protect sensitive plants in the later stages of growth.

Staying with vehicles, have you ever had the problem that one of your vehicles is beyond the game limit and can no longer be reached? Then we have some very good news for you: With FS25 patch 1.8, an automatic reset of out-of-bounds vehicles has been added.

Technical highlights: Smoother and more stable

With the updates for Farming Simulator 25, Giants Software places an extreme focus on performance and stability, and this patch is no different. You will notice the change, especially if you are playing on the larger FS25 maps or own and use a large number of vehicles.

Targeted stability improvements against crashes, charging problems with electrical vehicle technology and, of course, all kinds of bugs and errors such as jerks when producing garlic have all been worked out and fixed. Of course, a number of other points have also been improved and revised. You can find the complete Changelog of FS25 Patch 1.8 here.

More intelligent help through AI improvements

Of course, the artificial intelligence has also received improvements, even if only minor upgrades. The frequently used and popular “Go to” function is now much more reliable and has better route planning and the driving behavior is much more confident. Especially if you have several helpers working at the same time, you will also appreciate the better feedback from them, which simply makes it much easier.

Previous problems with the field recognition of the steering aids for your employed helpers should also be revised and therefore history. If errors were previously made when turning or fields were left unintentionally, these issues should now at least have been reduced to a minimum.

The FS25 gets into shape with patch 1.8

Giants Software show over and over again impressively that they care a lot about further developing and constantly improving Farming Simulator 25 - of course also with regard to the fact that you as a player and the entire FS25 community constantly provide helpful criticism and report bugs and errors found.
