What's new in Farming Simulator 25 Patch 1.7
The new patch 1.7 for Farming Simulator 25 adds fresh impetus to the field. With two new machines, helpful functions and lots of technical improvements, the update provides an improved gaming experience. In the following GPORTAL blog article, we show you what's new and what improvements have been made.
Additions to the fleet with Göweil and John Deere
The range of Farming Simulator 25 machines has been expanded with patch 1.7. It includes the Göweil G4010 Q Profi round bale wrapper, which impresses with its robust design and versatility in silage production - bales can be processed and stored more efficiently, which is a clear advantage for anyone who specializes in forage, for example.
Also new is the John Deere 8R eAutoPowr version, which conjures up a completely new driving experience in the field with its electric transmission. If you value state-of-the-art technology and agriculture, you will definitely enjoy this tractor. With these two new additions, Giants Software is making it clear that they want to constantly expand the FS25 fleet of machines and that modern agricultural technology is also important to them.
More enjoyable gameplay thanks to comfort improvements
If you are playing Farming Simulator 25 on a PC, you can now adjust the deadzones of your machines in the current game state for the first time without the need for external tools or a restart. The mods have also been optimized: Since patch 1.7, an exclamation mark now appears in the main menu when updates are available for previously installed mods.
The download overview from Modhub now also displays the download and file size. This not only simplifies the overall overview, but also prevents annoying surprises such as a weak internet connection during the download. As for the FS25 machines, you have a new option that allows you to automatically deactivate cruise control as soon as a GPS line ends.
Technical upgrades and better performance
Of course, as usual, Giants Software has also worked hard to improve the general performance of Farming Simulator 25. The numerous changes to optimize performance are clearly noticeable and ensure an excellent gaming experience. This is particularly apparent in multiplayer, where map synchronization has been sped up and overall performance has been improved for more fun with your friends.
Further optimizations and bug fixes
- Problems with shifting gears and clutch while driving have been fixed
- If you had a problem with the train not stopping at the station or stopping too far away, this should be fixed with patch 1.7
- The color of the cut grass foliage has been improved and now looks more natural
- A new priority system for the delivery of harvest orders now applies - if you deliver the same fruit to a station, the progress of the respective mission determines which order has priority
- Numerous bug fixes such as the missing corn harvest animation on consoles, incorrect liming after mulching or the deactivation of the removal of fences on animal pastures due to incorrect calculations
- Numerous reworked details such as the unnaturally glowing water foam effect at night
