Palworld x Terraria - Tides of Terraria is more than just a crossover
When two worlds meet that at first glance seem to have nothing to do with each other and yet the overall picture fits together so well - that's more than just a successful crossover. The Palworld Tides of Terraria update brings a whole load of new adventures with fishing, a trust system, new pals and new islands!
A new type of dungeon with a familiar enemy
The new Terraria-style dungeon is full of allusions such as Slimes, bats and even the Eye of Cthulhu is waiting for you. You will experience an absolutely nostalgic excursion into the world of the pixel classic and, along the way, you will find numerous materials with which you can create new weapons and armor sets. There are a total of six new weapons, including rifles and a shotgun, and seven sets - including the legendary Terraria Terra Blade sword. So once you've collected all the Terraria pieces as the game progresses, you'll feel like you're playing a modern 3D version of it.
The star of the Tides of Terraria update
Of course, the Eye of Cthulhu is already epic and the general crossover between Palworld and Terraria is super exciting and you don't even know where to start. But one of the absolute highlights of the Palworld Terraria update is the Moon Lord. For old-established Terraria players, he is the ultimate endgame monster and now he is also waiting for you in Palworld as a raid boss. The fight is difficult, very challenging and of course: epic! But don't worry, you will of course be more than adequately rewarded after a successful fight.
Simply switch off: fishing in Palworld
The fact that you can now go fishing in Palworld certainly sounds like a cozy and relaxing experience, doesn't it? Well, not quite. The new fishing system in Palworld works a little differently to other games, as you are not looking for valuable and special fish. However, you can fish rare materials, useful items and, above all, new Pals out of the water.
With the new option of fishing in Palworld, there is finally a nice side activity that offers something completely different than usual. You have no stress when fishing, no time pressure and there is no boss waiting for you. So if you tend to be the relaxed type in other games or need a break from the Moon Lord and like such activities, then fishing is perfect for you and you will even be richly rewarded!
Palworld Salvaging: treasure hunt on and under water
Staying with water for now, you can now also search for treasures in and on the water. All you have to do is hop on the back of a water Pal and keep an eye out for crates, ore or abandoned remains. You might feel a bit like a real pirate on a treasure hunt and, with a bit of luck, you'll even be richly rewarded.
Strengthen the team spirit with the new Pal Trust system
The Palworld Tides of Terraria update gives your Pals a little more personality. The new trust system ensures that the Pals you spend a lot of time with gradually gain in strength. And the closer your bond becomes and the more trust you can build, the more powerful your Pals' abilities will become. This new feature may make you reconsider your previous choice of Pal team and prefer to have other Pals by your side.
