The biggest Enshrouded update to date is coming soon
Today, everything changes in Enshrouded, as the developers release the eagerly awaited “Wake of the Water” update, which... well... brings water into the game. We'll tell you what's so special about it and why you should definitely check out Enshrouded again.
Enshrouded - Wake of the Water | Update 7 Highlights

It's getting wet in Enshrouded
Long-time Enshrouded fans know that, for lore reasons, there has been no water in the game. The only “liquids” available until now have been lava and mud, which are best avoided.
But that's changes now. With the “Wake of the Water” update, the developers at Keen Games are finally bringing water in all its forms and variations to the game, allowing you to dive into the depths. Even more importantly, thanks to the game's unique voxel base, players can influence the water and where it flows, allowing them to create waterfalls, rivers, and the like in their base. No more blue glowing blocks to simulate a “waterfall” – it's time for the real thing.
Of course, the update brings much more, but the addition of water alone is likely to be the biggest change Enshrouded has seen since its early access release, bringing with it a host of new possibilities, enemies, and secrets.
