Coffee Stain Studios has been cooking again and has released the fantastic 1.1 update for Satisfactory with a huge list of new features and improvements for your factory. We'll tell you what's inside.
Satisfactory 1.1 Launch Trailer
Your factory is on the rise
The developers have introduced a lot of cool new features with the latest update. Especially for factory builders who like to build vertically, the new “Personnal Elevator” is a super elegant way to travel through the levels of your factory. You can make as many entrances as necessary, name the floors and assign symbols to them and simply enjoy the ride. In addition, the functions of splitters and mergers have been improved and these can now be connected to conveyors, allowing greater modularity for your vertical building projects.
But that's just the beginning, of course. Below we list a few of the biggest innovations:
- Photo mode has had a complete overhaul - now you can create even more beautiful masterpieces
- The long-awaited controller support is finally here - works with Xbox and DualSense™ controllers
- Crash Sites can now finally be dismantled for extra resources (but you'll need to remove the hard disk first)
- Train tracks now use “buffer” stops at the end, just like on real train tracks, so your train doesn't derail to nowhere
- Countless quality of life improvements such as a slightly improved rail network
