How do I change the spawn rates of zombies on my Project Zomboid server?

Are the constantly spawning zombies a pain in the neck or is the opposite the case and you would like to have many more of them around you? Then you can influence the spawn behavior of the zombies with a few small steps.

Proceed as follows:

First stop your server via our web interface
Now establish an FTP connection to your server (more information about the FTP connection can be found HERE)
Now open the path
-> /Server
Search here for the file: world_SandboxVars.lua and edit it
Search the line PopulationModifier
-> If you increase the value, this leads to a higher spawnrate
-> If you decrease the value, less zombies will appear
-> If you set the value to 0, no zombies will appear anymore
Save the change and start your server
