Using the Invite Code
The easiest way to join a Windrose dedicated server is via the Invite Code. You’ll find it in your GPORTAL dashboard header for this server.
Copy the Invite Code from your GPORTAL dashboard- Share the code with your friends (Discord, chat, etc.)
- Friends open Windrose → Multiplayer → Join Server
- Enter the code and click Join

While you are actively playing on your Windrose server, you can invite friends directly through Steam:
- Open the Steam overlay (Shift+Tab) while in-game
- Go to Friends → right-click a friend → Invite to Game
- Your friend will receive a Steam notification to join
Joining via the In-Game Menu
Friends can also browse for your server in the in-game server browser. Make sure your server name is recognizable and, if password-protected, share the password separately.

Does Windrose support co-op multiplayer?
Yes. Windrose is a co-op PvE survival game supporting up to 8 players on a dedicated server. There is no PvP — all players are on the same team fighting against the world.
Can friends join without owning a server?
Yes. Only one player needs to host or rent a server. All other players just need a copy of Windrose on Steam and the invite code or Steam invite to join.
