Experience the Critters & Wonders update from Aloft
We're currently getting one update after another, and of course we're happy about that. Aloft also released its first major content update on March 11, adding new features and content to the beautiful game world that will enrich your adventures in the air. A livelier world thanks to critters
The Critters & Wonders update brings more life to the world of Aloft with the introduction of numerous small animals. You can now discover a variety of animals on your journey through the lofty heights, including:
- Bats 🦇
- Birds 🐦
- Bees 🐝
- Butterflies 🦋
- Frogs 🐸
- ... and even Lizards 🦎
This opens up new opportunities for interaction, as you can even catch these little animals - but please be careful when doing so.
But that's not all, the small animals naturally serve as companions, not least to help the ecosystem benefit from the new impressions, you also have the opportunity to create habitats on your islands for the little creatures. This also includes landing pads so that your animals can land gently as soon as you send them back to your island or pet bells that ensure that you can call back a specific species or all animals. For the bees, for example, you can build a beehive and get honey and wax; cute bees will also fly around in the immediate vicinity.
Variety of small animals
Do you like to play according to the “collect everything that is not solid” principle? Then the small animals will suit you even better, as you can find them in all kinds of shapes, colors and rarity levels. So keep your eyes wide open in the world of Aloft to find unique and unusual specimens and expand your ecosystem (and of course your collection).

Expand your horizons with the Wonder Islands
Not only are the little critters new in Aloft, the so-called Wonder Islands have also been introduced with the Critters & Wonders update. There are two islands in total, which are now firmly anchored in the sky world and offer you unique rewards and discoveries when you visit them. You can explore mysterious ruins and come across rare treasures in the process - now that's an incentive. Incidentally, more such wonder islands are to follow with further updates, so it remains exciting!
Shared home islands - strong together
Let's move on to another great highlight of the Critters & Wonders update from Aloft: the shared home islands. It was long requested by the community and players, and Astrolabe Interactive has delivered. When placing a home dragon, you can now choose whether the island should be created as a personal or shared home island.
If you are in a multiplayer session, all players can work together on the shared home islands. This means that everyone can build on and teleport to the shared home island without further permission. So if you and your friends have been waiting for such an opportunity, let's go and enjoy teamwork and breezy adventures together. Note: If you want to convert a shared home island back into a personal home island at some point, that's no problem!
