How the Palworld Pal Surgery Table works

What exactly is the Pal Surgery Table in Palworld?

The new Pal Surgery Table in Palworld is a station that you can unlock to customize a Pal's passive abilities. So if you've been spending hours breeding your Pals' abilities in the hope of finally getting the perfect Pal, you can now do it much more easily. Whether you want to optimize your Pals for fighting, farming, production or adjusting their gender, the Pal Surgery Table is one of the most powerful tools in Palworld.

How to unlock the Pal Surgery Table

First you have to reach level 36 in the technology menu and then you can get started after spending 3 technology points. Once you have unlocked the table, you will need the following materials to make it:

• 30x Refined Ingot
• 20x High Quality Cloth

You can obtain refined ingots by producing them yourself from ore and coal in an improved furnace. High-quality cloth, on the other hand, can be obtained from 10x wool at a high-quality workbench or as a drop from the Pal called Sibelyx.

Using the Pal Surgery Table

Once you have set up the surgery table for Pals, you can select one of your Pals and then adjust the passive skills or change the gender on the table.

Transferring passive skills with implant modules

You can open the menu for transferring passive skills and insert a suitable implant module there. To do this, you must first select one of your Pal's current passive skills (if it already has more than 4 passive skills), which will then be replaced by the new one. Implant modules can be purchased for 30 Bounty Tokens from a Bounty Officer or for 35 Battle Tickets from the Arena Vendor. The modules are still saved after the process and can be used for the next operation. Each change to the passive abilities on the Palworld Pal Surgery Table costs between 10,000-50,000 gold coins. The Tier 4 (Rainbow) passive skills cannot currently be added to the Pal Surgery Table in Palworld.

Changing gender on the Pal-OP table

To bring Pal Breeding to a new level in Palworld, you must also visit a Bounty Hunter and buy a Pal Reverser for 7 Bounty Tokens. This process does not cost you any gold, but after changing the gender of your Pal, the Pal reverser is gone - so unlike the implants, these must always be bought again.

The best passive skills for the Implants are currently Musclehead, Runner, Burly Body and Infinite Stamina - but of course you have to adapt this to your Pals and their use.
