FiveM – How can I import my data from other hosters?

If you have previously hosted your FiveM server elsewhere, but now want to switch to GPORTAL, you can easily import your server files to us. Proceed as follows:

First download your server files folder from the old hoster
- Using “ZAP-Hosting” as an example, you will find these under the following path
  - /UID/gta5-fivem/server-data
  - Downloading this data can take quite a while, as it is not packed and can therefore have a large data size (2-3 hours are possible)
  - Create a backup of your MariaDB/MySQL database and download it using the ZAP-Hosting download function
Now pack this data into a zip folder
Log in to your GPORTAL account on our website
Now upload the zip folder you just created to us via FTP/WebFTP (you already need a FiveM server from us for this)
Below is a screen of our file manager for illustration, above you can see the “Upload” button

Now unzip the uploaded zip folder with the integrated unzip function in our WebFTP (within the web interface)
- Note: If you click on the uploaded file, the corresponding “Unzip” button will appear above it
Now check once again whether all files have really ended up in the correct folder (simply click through the file manager)
Import the .sql file (if available) via PHPMyAdmin or similar tools

And that’s basically it.
