How do the (optional) server wipes work on V Rising servers?

With patch 0.5.42553 for V Rising, it is possible to reset (wipe) a server at regular, predefined intervals. After a reset, all progress of all players would be reset and you start from the beginning. This is a much sought-after feature, especially in the competitive area.

The options are “ResetDaysInterval” and “DayOfReset“.

ResetDaysInterval -> If the value of this option is set higher than 0, e.g. 1 (only full numbers possible), your server will be WIPED every RL-day. If you set the value to 3, for example, the server will be deleted every three days!

DayOfReset -> With this option you can define a particular day.

Hands-on examples of both options:

• No wipes:
  • ResetDaysInterval = 0
• If every Tuesday shall be wiped:
  • ResetDaysInterval = 7
  • DayOfReset = Tuesday
• If every 30 days shall be wiped:
  • ResetDaysInterval = 30
• If every 14 days on a Friday shall be wiped:
  • ResetDaysInterval = 14
  • DayOfReset = Friday
