Farming Simulator 22: Mod dependency on mod servers

On our FS22 servers you can of course use mods at any time and remove and add them as you wish.

However, there is something to bear in mind when removing mods.

Mod dependency

Depending on which mods you use on your server, it is possible that several mods build on each other, i.e. are dependent on each other.

If you want to remove mods, you have to keep in mind that you cannot remove a mod that is dependent on another mod. Sounds complicated, but it’s actually quite simple.

To give a simple example: The “Tires” mod is dependent on the “Rim studs” mod. This means that you cannot remove the “Tires” mod unless you also remove the “Rim bolts” mod first.

You can also see this in the interface for the mods. The checkbox in front of the mod is slightly grayed out if you cannot remove this mod due to a dependency.

If you now hover over this gray box with the mouse, you will also see a corresponding note with the dependency.
